Well are you single??????? ...This has now become a very common question.. Whether its facebook ,myspace or any other social networking  site . If u add any stranger to your friend list the first question that comes up from them ...is ...are you single?? I mean they wont have a look at the info given and will not ask ,"hey how are     you",     but are you single?? Almost 70% people people do the above..Is it necessary to be single before we add new friends to our list?? I just hate it.. People are just coming on social networking sites just to flirt or to have online fun.. Very few of us are actually there for friendship.. Before posting this I actually tried it myself. My status on facebook is single..and  I used to get tons of friend request. I changed my relationship status to "its complicated"...........And i guessed it right the number of friend request that i used to get just fell down by almost 95%. .. Most of us during free time watch TV . Even I'm  among  one of those . I get any free time , my hands move quickly to the remote...And when you just have to get rid of the regular boring work.. you even start liking channels like doordarshan (nothing personal ).. There is a huge variety now for us to watch on television .There's comedy ,action daily soap,drama , classic tales, and historic tales. We often make some shows our favourite. Most of us are just clued to some shows. Even clued to a handful of shows like GREYS ANATOMY & BADE ACCHE LAGTE HAIN. In India a huge population is clued to daily soaps.. Shows which don’t have any hands or legs yet people love watching such shows.. And quite a lot of Indians start connecting themselves with the characters showcased in that show. You know people say that the last two years of school life i.e 11th and 12th is considered to be the best time of life ... And college to be even better .. Just think if someone gets both of these  at the same time.. well you just have to be in a junior college to get such a kind of feeling . The fun ,the excitement . the enthusiasm  doubles when students step into the two beautiful years of their life. The fun of college and strictness of school all together . Students living in metros can generally get this awesome and fantastic opportunity .. i got this awesome chance of feeling like in heaven... Me and my friends have full on fun when we have to ... and we study as soon as we see the lecturer entering the class . The fun at college fests and the spirit of co-operation that we learn at these college fests is just incredible. Where as at school  we just learn to be perfect in every manner . Junior college teaches us way more than what schools teach us in 11th and 12th .

I belong to a male dominated country and scociety .. Every parent (quite a huge majority ) wants a male child . Whats the difference between a  boy and a girl child . For me its nothing but for some people they take it as their reputation of haing a male child . If a girl is born then............. then it is not at all easy for her to survive in todays world . A girl has to always listen and listen for her entire life .Even if she is right her opinion is not regarded important .She is always regarded as a liability for theit parents and not a child who might in future may make them proud. Most of the people say that we should respect females but its a question to be taken in mind do they actually practice this saying in their own house?? A great majority of people will not give a positive answer.....The reason is pretty obvious ... They themselves do not treat their daughters or wives as they should. Some of you will be thinking that what am i writting ... This never happens today

This is a kind of love story ...or you can say a confused love story ... Its a true story...but names are different and related to one of my friends... There was this girl named Nikki .. She was in 12th and was studying in a reputed junior college of mumbai.. She was  a jovial kind of girl ...calm ...and easy going ... She had a crush on her neighbour... She liked him ...and that guy as well liked her a lot.. His name was Sam. ,.....but here comes the crack .. Sam was ten years older to Nikki and was a MBA student.. Now with this age difference they found it hard to contact each other... Nikki one day got Sam's number from her dad's cellphone .. she contacted him...and gradually they started talking.. But Nikki did not tell him her real name.. Instead of this Sam knew that it was Nikki and so he asked her to stop using a fake name... After that they started talking and the number of meetings began to increase ... They never accepted their love for each other... Sam was 2

Most of us are familiar with Mumbai rains...and its impacts and the flooding and etc. Bmc failures and traffic jams and marine drive fun.. but i have a different view.. You know today i went out for the first time in "Mumbai rains" ... what i saw was how small kids play on busy roads and like yo get soaked.. Cars are crossing ...water is being splashed on them yet no worries... Full on in mood ....like no care about the dirt and mess just busy enjoying rain and cricket.. You will not hear any kind of complain about water logging or any such....from these true "Mumbaikars".. Another view was of people standing in line at the very famous "sidhivinayak temple"... Rain started suddenly yet the kind of spirit Mumbaikars have i bet no one would have that.... Water logging in slums is very kind os common here in monsoons .... yet you wont find anyone complaining... College going students like me ...we love getting soaked in the rain and going to college...

It is so odd ...u know when you come from a different place ..a different region.. What are problems one can face.. language problem...locality problem...neighbour problem... direction problem..... Many such problems.. But according to me.. the main problem is the feeling .....which we start feeling when we are away from our native place... Suddenly we realize that we not there any more... we start missing our friends...our family...our old school... and the most importantly.. the original you. Most of us try to portrait ourselves like a totally different "me". What we used to be..we try to get into the atmosphere... We kinda have a odd feeling about everything we do... I don't know why I'm writing this post... but  I know one thing for sure...that i  have a solution for this oddness.... We just have to keep patience ...patience is the key to most of our success ...and most of the solutions in this world... we just gotta keep patience to solve this "odd&qu

                                                             A FRESH START Well it all begins with something gained or lost.... You either get new friends or some remain the same ... This is how the first the day of college is... especially when you have just done school till 10th. and joined a junior college(jc) after that....  We are nervous in beginning ....we dont know whats gonna happen with us.. First three days specially is when most of us feel a bit out of place or a bit awkward.. Some of us face ragging as well... thank god...i did not had to face that.. A week later we start feeling good... then we realise that this is actually the kind of place where we were meant to be..With some new friends..a few supportive teachers...and great canteen staff..we start feeling good... Its when life takes a fresh new start. We are out of the palce where we used to be in a unifrom and bunked quite rarely..or some never bunked as well... college is where we all take a fresh new
